The folktales of The Kitsune and the yokai are a great short read. As many folktales have bad ending in relation to the Yokai, this one is uplifting. The appeal to make this a more updated story is my next project. How to approach with with simplicity and the same feeling this woman gives us, sadness. I wanted to reverse the story and give the main character, the female, aware of what she is and what can cannot do or enjoy. I will put this into a video format to immerse the viewer into a story or poem that gives more of a transformation to this woman and her final true form, the white fox. The more I evolve these illustrations the more of the transformation becomes clear, but the story is the main focus for the viewer. An evolving project.
